Oudtshoorn offers a large variety of sightseeing trips – some are local such as the ostrich farms and the famous Cango Caves. Bisibee is offering trips that are tailored to meet your needs as well as providing transportation/sightseeing from the larger cities such as Cape Town and Port Elizabeth along the R 62 or N2 with accommodation in Oudtshoorn. If you plan your trip in this area in conjunction with Bisibee, we will be more than happy to advise you.

We can offer transportation/sightseeing to a maximum of 6 people. If any of trips require a guide, one can be arranged at an extra cost.

Prince Alfred Pass

Swartberg Pass

The trip to the Prince Alfred pass can be divided up into two phases – from Oudtshoorn through the Kamminasie Valley to Uniondale (Approximately 120 km) and then from Uniondale, over the Prince Alfred Pass and back to Oudtshoorn along the N9 which forms part of the R62 route (Aproximately 135 km).

Kamminasie Valley The Kamminasie Valley is a rich fertile farming area with some panoramic scenery. After stopping in Uniondale for some tea or coffee the road continues on over the small pass between Uniondale and Prince Alfred Pass. Once you cross the N9, the slow climb to the top of Prince Alfred Pass begins.

Prince Albert PassOnce you are over the pass, a great place to stop over is Angie's "G" Spot. They have a great little pub and a menu to choose from. After leaving Angie, you continue along the valley, pick up the N9 and return to Oudtshoorn.
